Twitter Is About To Remove The Feature Moments On Mobile Apps

Popular social media platform, Twitter, is soon going to remove the ability to create ‘Moments’ on mobile apps. This major change is happening on October 23rd.

Moments feature was found less intriguing and hence was not used very much on mobile apps, said by Twitter, so more efforts will be put on in developing features that people enjoy using.

Here’s what Twitter says:

“On October 23, we’re removing the ability to create Moments on the Twitter for iOS or Android apps. When features aren’t used as often, we’ll remove them, so we can focus on building other products you’ll love.”

However, the functionality to create Moments will still be available on desktop.

Here’s a series of steps to follow in order to create Moments:

• Navigate to the Moments tab on top
• Add a title and description
• Choose your favourite tweets to add to the Moments
• Upload a cover image
• Click on Publish button

Twitter Moments that are created on desktop will still be visible on mobile apps.
